What is stopping your move?

Inside an unlocked solution · DF-002

Released Thursday. Last free day Friday. No appointments.

Every solution starts by showing the problem the way it hits the desk. Switch between the two weeks: same box, same hold, same terminal. The difference is what you do on Thursday.

Then the fix

Four moves, in this order.

Every solution has the same shape, so it can be worked under pressure without thinking about what comes next.

1

Diagnose

  • Confirm the release really cleared
  • Read the exact last free day
  • Check slots in every gate window
2

Fix the load

  • Take any open slot, day or night
  • Pair it with an empty return
  • Pre-pull to the yard if needed
3

Tell the customer

  • Same day, in writing
  • Options with the cost of each
  • Approval before any charge starts
4

Prevent it

  • Book the day the box releases
  • Alert on every last free day
  • Never let a hold stop the clock watch

The unlocked solution has every check, the message for the customer and the charges to protect. This page shows the outline only.

Even better: see it coming on the board

Every box, its last free day and its appointment, on one screen.

Quotematic keeps every container on one board with its status, holds, last free day and appointments, and highlights a last free day that is today or tomorrow. You see the problem before it becomes one.

Caught before it needed a fix · from our own board

The paperwork said 40' HQ. The terminal said reefer.

A customer sent a load for a 40-foot high cube. Nothing in the order or the paperwork said reefer, and the customer did not know. When Quotematic checked the box against the terminal, the equipment code came back as a refrigerated container. The flag went up before a driver was sent.

What the catch protects

  • The customer confirms what is inside before it moves, and whether the unit has to run.
  • The driver is told it is a reefer, so nothing at the gate or the dock comes as a surprise.
  • The rate and the charges match a reefer move, agreed before the work, not argued after.
